Bethany Blues - Let's Do Trivia - 8.7.25

Bethany Blues:  13 teams signed up and pitted their wits against the odds of a 1 and 3 shot at the top prizes.  All teams pushed through to the very end in the hopes of leaving with something, even the consolation prize of a delicious fudge Sundae.  For Round 2, Question 1 draw your best white marlin.  Positions were very tight going into the half with Teslas4Putin at top, Filly with an F/Two Timers/Hulkamaniacs with a three-way tie for second, Aquadummies in third, Katzenbloom 4th, Dirty Jersey 5th, Bad Girls 6th, Off Center 7th, 8th was Titanic Swim Team, 9th was Bethany Beach Bums, and 10th was No Thoughts Just Vibes.  While No Thought Just Vibes held on to their position and received a coupon for a very tasty treat at the end, the second half and the final question shook things up for everyone.  The standings at the end of the game were: 1 84 Off Center 2 80 Dirty Jersey 3 76 Teslas4Putin 4 68 Filly With a...

Bethany Blues: We had another packed house for this week's game. The Bad Girls snagged the OTB extra point to get the game rolling. Midway through the half Ladybugs, Jeff's Chicks and Dr. Zoom were all vying for the top spot. *draw a picture of a sandcastle on the Round 2/Question 1 response (8/7/25) to score bonus points* At the halfway mark, Dr. Zoom held a slim lead over Team Filly With An F, then a tie between Ladybugs and Jeff's Chicks, then another tie between Bad Girls and Mugsy's Masters. The second half realy shook up the running order, elevating several teams. Going into the Final Bonus, Team Filly With An F was on top of the roster, followed by KatzenBloom(w/Steve&Abby), Mugsy's Masters, then a tie between Off Center and Dr. Zoom. Bethany Blues: It was an incredibly packed house and a busy night for our game this week. The Bethany Blues House Team and Off Center both scored OTB extra points for their responses to kick off the night. Off Center, The Walkers and Titanic Swim Team were all contending for the lead throughout the first half. *draw a picture of a carnival on the Round 2/Question 1 response (7/31/25) to score bonus points* At Halftime, Ladybugs held a slim lead over Aquadummies, then a tie between Off Center and Titanic Swim Team, followed by Golden Girls. The second half played to the strengths of a few teams, while a few others suffered. Ladybugs were able to hold onto their lead over Off Center, Aquadummies, Bad Girls and MCP as we entered the Final Bonus. Only one team correctly answered the Final Bonus, scoring the victory! Bethany Blues: We had a surprisingly sunny evening making for a warm, albeit a bit muggy, return to the game. Off Center nabbed the OTB extra point and got off to a near perfect first half. The Terps, however, did have a perfect first half, leaving the lead duo even on points at the conclusion of the half. *draw a picture of a beach umbrella on the Round 2/Question 1 response (7/24/25) to score bonus points* At the halfway mark, Off Center and Terps shared the lead, standing head & shoulders above the rest of the field. They were trailed by Matt Foley's Fan Club, then a tie between Theory of Relatrivia and Mugsy's Masters. Off Center was unable to maintain their momentum in the second half, allowing The Terps take a commanding lead. The Terps were well ahead of Off Center, Theory of Relatrivia, Matt Foley's Fan Club, then a tie between Bad Girls and Mugsy's Masters as we entered the Final Bonus. Bethany Blues-Let's Do Trivia-Blurb from the 7/10/25 Gameshow

Bethany Blues: We had a substantial turnout this week with 15 teams signed up to play!  There were 5 teams of one mind when it came to the OTB question, and were justifiably awarded the extra point. *Draw a picture of lighting bugs in a jar on the Round 2/Question 1 response (7/14/25) to score bonus points* Every group came out to win as the answer for the duration of the game were mostly unanimously correct, and we celebrated three socials.  However, as it is throughout life, luck did play a factor in whether teams came away prizes or not.  Teams, such as Dr. Zoom, and Off Center, that remain competitive week after week had another good showing.  Although, The New Neighbors, Mom Knows Best (I am just guessing), and Katzenbloom! brought a strong game through Half of the show! Only one team got the Final Question correct! Final Top 5 Results: 1) Dr. Zoom 2) Mom Knows Best (I am just guessing) 3) New Neighbors 4) Off Center 5) Clueless

Bethany Blues: It was a packed house with lots of rookie teams gearing up for the holiday weekend. Mad Hatters and Mugsy's Masters both scored OTB bonus points for their responses to get the early on the competition. Unfortunately, neither were able to take advantage of their early lead as American Idiots and House Party quickly moved to the front for a head-to-head battle throughout the early rounds. *draw a picture of a fireworks display on the Round 2/Question 1 response (7/10/25) to score bonus points* At Halftime, American Idiots and House Party shared the top spot over a tie between Theory Of Relatrivia and Mad Hatters, then Muck The Fets. House Party stumbled a bit early in the second half allowing American Idiots to seize sole possession of the lead, but then they too stumbled allowing Mad hatters to take over at the front midway through the half. Bethany Blues: We had a baker's dozen worth of teams pack the house for this week's game. Bad Girls and BAC Is Higher Than Our Score both scored OTB extra points for their responses. It was a close match with several teams threatening for the lead. Bad Girls took advantage of their early bonus to stay just ahead of the competition. *draw a picture of Old Glory on the Round 2/Question 1 response (7/3/25) to score bonus points* At the halfway mark, Bad Girls had a comfy lead over Off Center, MCP, Mugsy's Masters, then a tie between Drinking Britches and You're A Quizzard Harry. The second half was challenging for some, beneficial for others, shaking up the running order.
