Bethany Blues - Let's Do Trivia Blurb - 7/23/26

Bethany Blues: We had an incredibly packed house filled with a bunch of fun teams for this week’s game. Many of the OTB responses left everyone rolling on the floor in tears, so we generously awarded a half dozen teams bonus points for their hilarious answers. Once everyone recovered and dried their eyes, we got the game underway. It was a well contested and close match, with several teams running at the front over the early rounds until Wing Nut made a breakaway late in the half. *draw a picture of a saltwater pony on the Round 2/Question 1 response (7/30/26) to score bonus points* At Halftime, Wing Nut held a commanding lead over a tie between 4 For Trivia and The Animals, closely followed by a 3-way tie between Titanic Swim Team, Dr. Zoom and Trivia Date Night. Wing Nut lost their early momentum during the second half, sliding down the roster. Bethany Blues - Let's Do Trivia Blurb - 7/16/26

Bethany Blues: A dozen teams gathered for our game this week. 4 For Trivia were first on the board, taking the OTB extra point and running at the front of the pack over the early rounds. However, Off Center ran the table for a flawless performance to take over late in the half. *draw a picture of the FIFA World Cup Trophy on the Round 2/Question 1 response (7/23/26) to score bonus points* At the halfway mark, Off Center held a slim lead over 4 For Trivia, Katzenbloom, Dr. Zoom and Animals. Off Center kept the pressure on high throughout the second half to hold off the rest of the field. They were just ahead of 4 For Trivia, Dr. Zoom, Katzenbloom and Animals as we entered the Final Bonus. Only one team correctly answered the Final Bonus. Bethany Blues - Let's Do Trivia Blurb - 7/9/26

Bethany Blues: Another packed house filled with plenty of veteran teams along with a bunch of newbies joined this week’s game. Katzenbloom and 4 For Trivia both won an OTB extra point for their great responses. It was a close battle, with the lead changing hands like a hot potato every round. *draw a picture of a soccer ball on the Round 2/Question 1 response (7/16/26) to score bonus points* At Halftime, Off Center held possession of a narrow lead over Dr. Zoom, American Idiots, Titanic Swim Team, then a tie between How Trivial and Fabulous 4. Off Center tripped a bit midway through the second half, allowing Dr. Zoom to slip past. Going into the Final Bonus, Dr. Zoom was just ahead of Off Center, followed by a tie between American Idiots and Titanic Swim Team, then The Animals. Bethany Blues - Let's Do Trivia Blurb - 7/2/26

2 nd  attempt Bethany Blues: We had a packed house with an amazing 20 teams joining our game this week. Swamp Donkeys snagged the OTB extra point and got off to an excellent start. However, Titanic Swim Team and The Brewers both put in flawless performances over the early rounds. *draw a picture of a fireworks display on the Round 2/Question 1 response (7/9/26) to score bonus points* At the halfway mark, The Brewers held the lead with a perfect halftime score! They were closely followed by a tie between Titanic Swim Team and Rehab Is For Quitters, then Four For Trivia and Dr. Zoom. Unfortunately, The Brewers lost momentum and tumbled down the standings. Going into the Final Bonus, Rehab Is For Quitters were out in front of Dr. Zoom, Titanic Swim Team, then a 3-way tie between Four For Trivia, The Brewers and Aquadummies. Bethany Blues - Let's Do Trivia Blurb - 6/25/26

Bethany Blues: It was a packed house with quite a few rookie teams getting involved with this week’s game. Dr. Zoom and Filly With An F both earned OTB extra points for their imaginative responses. It was a close match with several teams vying for the top spot until We Are Here For The Rum edged out the field to take the lead midway through the half. *draw a picture of Yogurt, Grand Master of the Schwartz on the Round 2/Question 1 response (7/2/26) to score bonus points* At Halftime, We Are Here For The Rum had a comfy lead over Filly With An F, Fireballs, Downingtown West, then a tie between Dr. Zoom and Fear No Snowman. We Are Here For The Rum struggled to maintain their early pace during the second half, while Filly With An F put in a flawless performance to hold a firm grasp on the lead going into The Final Bonus. They were trailed by Fireballs, We Are Here For The Rum, Dr. Zoom and Off Center. Only one team correctly answered the Final Bonus, scoring the victory! Final...

Bethany Blues: We had another dozen teams filled with several of our regular veteran teams along with a handful of newbies. Dr. Zoom were first on the board, scoring the OTB extra point. They went on to run the table over the early rounds, with Four For Trivia in hot pursuit. *draw a picture of an old man on the Round 2/Question 1 response (6/25/26) to score bonus points* At the halfway mark, Dr. Zoom sat on top of the roster with a perfect maximum point halftime score! They were closely followed by Four For Trivia, Vert Der Flerk, Aquadummies and Katzenbloom. Dr. Zoom was unable to maintain their perfect run at the front, but held onto their lead over the second half. They were trailed by Vert Der Flerk, Aquadummies, Four For Trivia and Billiard Balls as we entered the Final Bonus. Only one team correctly answered the Final Bonus. Bethany Blues - Let's Do Trivia - 06.11.26

Ten Teams came to get down at Bethany Blues for Let's Do Trivia!  Marginally Smarter Than A Goldfish, Tesla4Putin, and Bad Girls came out swinging, holding a strong position throughout the game.   D raw a picture of a Route 66 sign on the Round 2/Question 1 response (6/18/26) to score bonus points. As we approached the final question no one team was completely out of the running, and by design, the final question changed the fortunes for several teams.  No team correctly answered the last question, but a couple teams made bold moves by wagering zero or low points.
