Bethany Blues - Let's Do Trivia Blurb - 1/4/24

Bethany Blues: A fantastic turnout coming off the holidays into the new year for this week's game. Both Off Center and Scooby Snacks scored OTB extra points for their fun responses. Scooby Snacks took advantage of their early jump out of the blocks to lead over much of the early rounds, but then slipped a bit late in the half allowing Dr. Zoom and The Animals to slide past. *draw a picture of the Baby New Year on the Round 2/Question 1 response for bonus points* At Halftime, Dr. Zoom held a slim lead over a tie between The Animals and Scooby Snacks, then 2025 Is Going To Be Our Year! and Off Center. During the second half, Scooby Snacks dropped a bit off the pace and slid a few places down the roster. As we entered the Final Bonus, Dr. Zoom held the advantage over The Animals, 2025 Is Going To Be Our Year!, Off Center and Scooby Snacks.

Two teams correctly answered the Final Bonus. One wagered maximum points, the other wasn't so confident.

Bethany Blues: An excellent crowd filled with some familiar faces showed up to join this week's game. Just Cheers & Off Center both scored OTB extra points for their responses. The game didn't play into anyone's particular strengths, so it was a tight match over the early rounds. *draw a picture of a parking meter on the Round 2/Question 1 response (5/22/25) to score bonus points* At Halftime, Just Cheers held a narrow lead over a tie between Off Center and Underage Thinkers, then another tie between Bethany Blues and Big Cookie. Off Center came out of the half with a head of steam to take over the lead and ran at the front until being pipped by Zoom Mini as we entered the Final Bonus. The lead duo were followed by Titanic Swim Team, Just Cheers and Big Cookie. Only a single team correctly answered the Final Bonus. Blurb For Game played on 10-30-2025

It was great being back at Bethany Blues for Let's Do Trivia last Thursday for ERIC THE GREAT!!! People are always fun and friendly. It's even good to see Adele!  It was a big crowd last week with lots of energy and competition. Teslas4Putin started off with a great On Time Bonus Question answer. However, by the time we got thru Halftime, Confederacy Of Dunces lead the pack. After Halftime, Teslas4Putin got to work at it again, and, lead the field as we went into Final Bonus. But, with a big wager and the correct answer, Off Center pulled off the win for the 1st place prize. Threes Company took 2nd place, and, Teslas4Putin took the 3rd place prize. The Nacho Prize (cuz this was "Not Cho Game") was scooped up by JS. Bethany Blues - Let's Do Trivia Blurb - 10/9/25

Bethany Blues: We had a great crowd filled with a few newcomers for our game this week. Off Center, Aquadummies and Low Expectations all scored OTB extra points for their responses. It was an incredibly low-scoring game throughout the early rounds, and only three correct responses for the Halftime Bonus across the entire field. Yeah, this was a tough one… *draw a picture of Betelgeuse on the Round 2/Question 1 response (10/16/25) to score bonus points* At the halfway mark, Low Expectations and Dr. Zoom shared the top spot over Nobody Cares About Ian, Parents Night Out, then a tie between Off Center and Underage Thinkers. Dr. Zoom posted a flawless second half to take over at the front while the rest of the field jockeyed for position. They were trailed by Low Expectations, Nobody Cares About Ian, then a 3-way tie between Off Center, Underage Thinkers and Parents Night Out as we headed into the Final Bonus.
