Bethany Blues - Let's Do Trivia Blurb - 2/15/24

Bethany Blues: The roster was full with plenty of our regular teams along with a handful of rookies joining the fun. Off Center were first on the board, scoring the OTB extra point then leading the charge over the early rounds. Unfortunately, they lost a bit of steam late in the half, allowing a few other teams to barge their way past. *draw Mount Rushmore on the Round 2/Question 1 response for bonus points*. At Halftime, Dr. Zoom held a slim lead over We're Always Late, then a tie between The Animals and Psycho Divas just ahead of a 4-way tie between Off Center, Repeat Offenders, Tom Brady French Kisses His Son and Submission. A mere 3 points covering the top 8 teams! This one's definitely going to the wire with no clear favorite taking control. Tom Brady French Kisses His Son came out swinging after the half to snatch the lead away from Dr. Zoom, but then Dr. Zoom found their second wind in the later rounds to retake the lead going into the Final Bonus. They were trailed by Tom Brady French Kisses His Son, The Animals, We're Always Late and Submission.

A half dozen teams correctly answered the Final Bonus, so it all came down to the wagering.

Bethany Blues: An excellent crowd filled with some familiar faces showed up to join this week's game. Just Cheers & Off Center both scored OTB extra points for their responses. The game didn't play into anyone's particular strengths, so it was a tight match over the early rounds. *draw a picture of a parking meter on the Round 2/Question 1 response (5/22/25) to score bonus points* At Halftime, Just Cheers held a narrow lead over a tie between Off Center and Underage Thinkers, then another tie between Bethany Blues and Big Cookie. Off Center came out of the half with a head of steam to take over the lead and ran at the front until being pipped by Zoom Mini as we entered the Final Bonus. The lead duo were followed by Titanic Swim Team, Just Cheers and Big Cookie. Only a single team correctly answered the Final Bonus. Blurb For Game played on 10-30-2025

It was great being back at Bethany Blues for Let's Do Trivia last Thursday for ERIC THE GREAT!!! People are always fun and friendly. It's even good to see Adele!  It was a big crowd last week with lots of energy and competition. Teslas4Putin started off with a great On Time Bonus Question answer. However, by the time we got thru Halftime, Confederacy Of Dunces lead the pack. After Halftime, Teslas4Putin got to work at it again, and, lead the field as we went into Final Bonus. But, with a big wager and the correct answer, Off Center pulled off the win for the 1st place prize. Threes Company took 2nd place, and, Teslas4Putin took the 3rd place prize. The Nacho Prize (cuz this was "Not Cho Game") was scooped up by JS. Bethany Blues - Let's Do Trivia Blurb - 10/9/25

Bethany Blues: We had a great crowd filled with a few newcomers for our game this week. Off Center, Aquadummies and Low Expectations all scored OTB extra points for their responses. It was an incredibly low-scoring game throughout the early rounds, and only three correct responses for the Halftime Bonus across the entire field. Yeah, this was a tough one… *draw a picture of Betelgeuse on the Round 2/Question 1 response (10/16/25) to score bonus points* At the halfway mark, Low Expectations and Dr. Zoom shared the top spot over Nobody Cares About Ian, Parents Night Out, then a tie between Off Center and Underage Thinkers. Dr. Zoom posted a flawless second half to take over at the front while the rest of the field jockeyed for position. They were trailed by Low Expectations, Nobody Cares About Ian, then a 3-way tie between Off Center, Underage Thinkers and Parents Night Out as we headed into the Final Bonus.
