Bethany Blues - Let's Do Trivia Blurb - 4/11/24

Bethany Blues: We had a handful of rookie teams join several repeat offenders for this week's game. Bethany Beach Buddies nabbed the OTB extra point, but then struggled to get off the line. Meanwhile Dr. Zoom and Bethany Blues House Team battled it out at the front over the first half. *draw a picture of two pennies on the Round 2/Question 1 response to score bonus points* At the halfway mark, Bethany Blues House Team was just ahead of Dr. Zoom, Knot Shore, Titanic Swim Team, then a tie between Off Center and Hootin' Leads to Hollarin'. During the second half, both Late Again and Knot Shore put in strong performances to climb up the roster. Going into the Final Bonus, Dr. Zoom held a narrow lead over Knot Shore, then a 3-way tie between Late Again, Bethany Blues House Team and Titanic Swim Team.

None of our teams correctly answered the Final Bonus, so it all came down to the wagering.

Blurb For Game played on 10-30-2025

It was great being back at Bethany Blues for Let's Do Trivia last Thursday for ERIC THE GREAT!!! People are always fun and friendly. It's even good to see Adele!  It was a big crowd last week with lots of energy and competition. Teslas4Putin started off with a great On Time Bonus Question answer. However, by the time we got thru Halftime, Confederacy Of Dunces lead the pack. After Halftime, Teslas4Putin got to work at it again, and, lead the field as we went into Final Bonus. But, with a big wager and the correct answer, Off Center pulled off the win for the 1st place prize. Threes Company took 2nd place, and, Teslas4Putin took the 3rd place prize. The Nacho Prize (cuz this was "Not Cho Game") was scooped up by JS. Bethany Blues: We had a great crowd filled with a few newcomers for our game this week. Off Center, Aquadummies and Low Expectations all scored OTB extra points for their responses. It was an incredibly low-scoring game throughout the early rounds, and only three correct responses for the Halftime Bonus across the entire field. Yeah, this was a tough one… *draw a picture of Betelgeuse on the Round 2/Question 1 response (10/16/25) to score bonus points* At the halfway mark, Low Expectations and Dr. Zoom shared the top spot over Nobody Cares About Ian, Parents Night Out, then a tie between Off Center and Underage Thinkers. Dr. Zoom posted a flawless second half to take over at the front while the rest of the field jockeyed for position. They were trailed by Low Expectations, Nobody Cares About Ian, then a 3-way tie between Off Center, Underage Thinkers and Parents Night Out as we headed into the Final Bonus. Bethany Blues: A baker's dozen of teams competed for this week's game.  Cohenheads nabbed the OTB extra point to get our game kicked off. Filly With An F set the early pace, running at the front of the pack over the first half. *draw a picture of a scrapple sandwich on the Round 2/Question 1 response (10/9/25) to score bonus points* At Halftime, Filly with an F held a comfy lead over Cohenheads, Heinbaughs, then a tie between Bethany Blues House Team and Nicky's Friends. Filly With An F continued their romp at the front with a flawless second half, further extending their lead going into the Final Bonus. They were trailed by Cohenheads, Nicky's Friends, Heinbaughs and Underage Thinkers. Nobody correctly answered the Final Bonus.
