Bethany Blues - Let's Do Trivia Blurb - 6/13/24 *Inflated Prize Alert*

Bethany Blues: An excellent crowd filled with a good group of our regular players along with quite a few rookie teams joining in for this week's game. Titanic Swim Team snagged the OTB extra point to get things rolling. It was a close match, with Not Today Satan and Teem Deen at the pointy end of the field for much of the first half. *draw a picture of a water slide on the Round 2/Question 1 response (6/20/24) to score bonus points* Not Today Satan scored maximum points during the Halftime Bonus to hold a firm grasp on the lead over Teem Deen, Menace to Sobriety, Bethany Blues House Team and Underage Thinkers going into the second half. Not Today Satan was able to maintain their momentum throughout the second half to extend their lead over Menace to Sobriety, Animals, Good Question and Bethany Blues House Team as we entered the Final Bonus.

Several teams correctly answered the Final Bonus, and the house team scored the 3rd place prize, so that will get lumped into the next game's top prize.

Blurb For Game played on 10-30-2025

It was great being back at Bethany Blues for Let's Do Trivia last Thursday for ERIC THE GREAT!!! People are always fun and friendly. It's even good to see Adele!  It was a big crowd last week with lots of energy and competition. Teslas4Putin started off with a great On Time Bonus Question answer. However, by the time we got thru Halftime, Confederacy Of Dunces lead the pack. After Halftime, Teslas4Putin got to work at it again, and, lead the field as we went into Final Bonus. But, with a big wager and the correct answer, Off Center pulled off the win for the 1st place prize. Threes Company took 2nd place, and, Teslas4Putin took the 3rd place prize. The Nacho Prize (cuz this was "Not Cho Game") was scooped up by JS. Bethany Blues: We had a great crowd filled with a few newcomers for our game this week. Off Center, Aquadummies and Low Expectations all scored OTB extra points for their responses. It was an incredibly low-scoring game throughout the early rounds, and only three correct responses for the Halftime Bonus across the entire field. Yeah, this was a tough one… *draw a picture of Betelgeuse on the Round 2/Question 1 response (10/16/25) to score bonus points* At the halfway mark, Low Expectations and Dr. Zoom shared the top spot over Nobody Cares About Ian, Parents Night Out, then a tie between Off Center and Underage Thinkers. Dr. Zoom posted a flawless second half to take over at the front while the rest of the field jockeyed for position. They were trailed by Low Expectations, Nobody Cares About Ian, then a 3-way tie between Off Center, Underage Thinkers and Parents Night Out as we headed into the Final Bonus. Bethany Blues: A baker's dozen of teams competed for this week's game.  Cohenheads nabbed the OTB extra point to get our game kicked off. Filly With An F set the early pace, running at the front of the pack over the first half. *draw a picture of a scrapple sandwich on the Round 2/Question 1 response (10/9/25) to score bonus points* At Halftime, Filly with an F held a comfy lead over Cohenheads, Heinbaughs, then a tie between Bethany Blues House Team and Nicky's Friends. Filly With An F continued their romp at the front with a flawless second half, further extending their lead going into the Final Bonus. They were trailed by Cohenheads, Nicky's Friends, Heinbaughs and Underage Thinkers. Nobody correctly answered the Final Bonus.
