Eric had a prior engagement but contrary to rumor, he is not going the way of our dear friend Wayde! Eric returns this week to entertain you as only he can... with class and sophistication as opposed to the crass, 80's gameshow style that I seem to put out.

Y'all suffered me pretty well, I have to say! Thanks for the kind words.

We started with a field of 15 teams then one bowed out before we had really begun! (Tourist, prolly.) Anyway, at the halftime break, Menace To Sobriety had the lead but just 3 points back Off Center (running a short crew this week) were on their heels. The Animals were just 1 point farther back in 3rd! Great close match!

Speaking of close matches, for your Round 2 Secret Art Bonus, draw a match, or a book of matches. 3 points await your artful dodges!

Going into the final query, Menace To Sobriety were still clinging to the top spopt and had increased their lead over 2nd place The Animals who kicked and screamed their way into 2nd place. Oh, the trauma! Oh, the fun! In 3rd, we had a tie between Tom Brady FKHS and Titanic Swim Team.

I was happy to reintroduce Bethany Blues to the NEW WINNER'S TROPHY! And, read on to see which team was the first to proudly receive the trophy, albeit temporarily! Remember, it is incumbent on winning teams to return the following week to DEFEND their trophy win!

Bethany Blues: An excellent crowd filled with some familiar faces showed up to join this week's game. Just Cheers & Off Center both scored OTB extra points for their responses. The game didn't play into anyone's particular strengths, so it was a tight match over the early rounds. *draw a picture of a parking meter on the Round 2/Question 1 response (5/22/25) to score bonus points* At Halftime, Just Cheers held a narrow lead over a tie between Off Center and Underage Thinkers, then another tie between Bethany Blues and Big Cookie. Off Center came out of the half with a head of steam to take over the lead and ran at the front until being pipped by Zoom Mini as we entered the Final Bonus. The lead duo were followed by Titanic Swim Team, Just Cheers and Big Cookie. Only a single team correctly answered the Final Bonus. Bethany Blues - Let's Do Trivia Blurb - 6/19/25

Bethany Blues: We had a packed house with nearly 20 teams (whew!) join in the fun this week. Off Center, Sextupuss and New Neighbors all scored OTB extra points for their responses. It was a close match due to a surprisingly low-scoring game. Everyone was struggling. *draw a picture of Sunny the Smilin' Sun on the Round 2/Question 1 response (6/26/25) to score bonus points* At Halftime, New Neighbors held a narrow lead over a tie between Bad Girls and Sextupuss, followed by another tie between Master Naturalists and D-town, who were followed by yet a 3-way tie. The top eight teams covered by just 3 points. The second half really shook up the running order, favoring a few teams, challenging others. Going into the Final Bonus, Dr. Zoom was just ahead of D-town, Sextupuss, Houston-We Have An Answer, then a tie between New Neighbors and Master Naturalists. The Blurb is Back, Baby! Bethany Blues: We had a fantastic turnout with a baker's dozen of teams joining this week's game. Tom Brady French Kisses His Son snagged the OTB extra point and ran at the front for much of the early rounds, but then tripped late in the half allowing a couple other teams past. *draw a new moon in the night sky on the Round 2/Question 1 response for bonus points*. At Halftime, The Animals held the top spot over Fab Five, Underage Thinkers, Dr. Zoom, then a tie between Off Center and Prime Hookers. The Animals maintained their momentum throughout the second half, holding off the advances of Tom Brady French Kisses His Son and Dr. Zoom.
